League Two outfit Oxford United have decided to recall striker Tyrone Marsh from his loan spell at Blue Square Bet South club Staines Town.
The 19-year-old joined the Swans on transfer deadline day and went on to play a pivotal role in securing the club’s safety ahead of the final round of league fixtures.
The Bedford-born player scored nine goals in 16 games, his last appearance coming against Dover Athletic on Tuesday night.
Commenting on his successful stint at Staines, Marsh told Oxford United’s official website: “I have enjoyed my time at Staines.
“It is a good club and everyone made me feel very at home. I learnt a lot during my time there, played games and scored a few goals.
“I am looking forward to coming back to Oxford and being part of the squad again up at Accrington on Saturday.”
