Midfielder Giannoulis Fakinos has signed for Welling United following his release by Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Ebbsfleet United.
The 23-year-old’s contract was cancelled by mutual consent on Friday, paving the way for him to link up with the high-flying Blue Square Bet South side.
The Greek player has turned out for Olympiacos, Panionios, Ilioupoli and Apollon Smyrni in his home country, and can operate in a defensive or an attacking position in midfield.
Fakinos made 21 appearances for the Fleet, having arrived at Stonebridge Road towards the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
A statement on Ebbsfleet’s official website read:
The registration of Fleet midfielder Giannoulis ‘Cesc’ Fakinos has been cancelled by mutual consent and the player has now joined Welling United.
