Acting Salisbury City manager Mikey Harris has made his first signing for the club after recruiting former on-loan winger Elliott Frear on a permanent basis.
The 22-year-old was loaned to the Whites by Exeter City for much of last season, helping them to promotion via the play-offs with his three goals from 30 appearances.
However, Frear was not offered a new contract by the Grecians on his return and has been snapped up by Harris after being released by the League Two club.
Harris told the club’s official website: “I am really pleased Elliott has agreed to join us on a permanent basis. He was excellent for us last season and is an exciting player who brings something different to the team.
“Elliott has a great attitude and is hungry to progress, a must for anyone who signs for Salisbury City.”
The youngster is eager to make a lasting impression at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium as Harris prepares his squad for life in the top tier of non-league football.
added: “I am buzzing to sign for Salisbury permanently. These are exciting times for the club.
“I am looking forward to getting back to training with Mikey and the lads. I want to make a real mark on this league and I believe Salisbury City is the place to do that.”
