Dartford manager Tony Burman has completed his fourth signing of the summer with the acquisition of defender Tyrone Sterling from Dover Athletic.
The 25-year-old only joined the Whites in January this year when he became Chris Kinnear’s first signing in his second spell at the Crabble.
Sterling helped the Kent outfit reach the Blue Square Bet South play-off final last month, where they lost out on promotion to Salisbury City.
However, he will be making the step up to the top tier of non-league football next season regardless after accepting an offer from the Darts.
Burman told the club’s official website: “I have been impressed with Tyrone’s desire and commitment to play at Dartford FC for the right reasons and to have the opportunity to play at a higher level.”
Sterling will link up with fellow new arrivals Alan Julian, Kenny Clark and Max Cornhill for pre-season training in the coming weeks.
