Veteran defender Jim Rollo has re-joined Bath City for the remainder of the Blue Square Bet South season.
Subject to the completion of his paperwork, Rollo will be back at Twerton Park as both a player and part of Lee Howells’ coaching staff.
The 36-year-old returns to City from Chippenham Town, with the Wisbeh native keen to add to his 476 appearances for the Romans over the course of a ten-year spell at the Somerset outfit.
“Ten weeks ago I had the hardest decision I’ve made in football, today I had the easiest,” Rollo told the club’s official website on Tuesday.
“I am really looking forward to seeing all the lads and being part of Bath City Football Club again. Accept the past, manage the present, and work hard towards the future.”
City chairperson Manda Rigby added, “I am beyond delighted Jim is back with Bath City. I know that, in whatever capacity, he will give the best he can, and his return is a huge boost to the club.”
