Truro City striker Andy Watkins has followed Stewart Yetton out of the relegated Blue Square South club.
City’s Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year has been an integral member of the club’s amazing run of five promotions in six seasons, netting 143 goals in 295 games.
But following a disappointing season, that saw the White Tigers docked 10 points and suffer a drop out of the conference, the 27-year-old has made the decision to join rivals Bath City next season.
Yetton has, meanwhile, signed for Southern League premier side Weymouth.
Watkins said on his Twitter account: “Just to confirm, I have agreed a deal to play at Bath City next year. Was a big decision to make but I’m excited for the season ahead.
“Very sad to be leaving Truro after seven seasons. It’s a great club where I have made many friends and have shared so many great memories.”
