Bromley boss Mark Goldberg has confirmed a whole raft of changes at the club, with five players penning new deals and several others joining the club.
Elliot Buchanan, Mike Jones, Warren McBean, Danny Waldren and Joe Welch have all agreed new deals for the 2013/14 campaign, while Goldberg remains hopeful that Pierre Joseph-Dubois will soon follow suit in committing to the Ravens.
Goldberg has, meanwhile also snapped up Dorchester Town’s Ashley Nichols, Cambridge United’s Joe Anderson, AFC Hornchurch’s Alex Bentley, Billericay Town duo Jay May and Rob Swaine, as well as former Southend United trainee Shamir Mullings.
Commenting on the capture of Nichols, Goldberg told the club’s official website: “I have admired Ashley for a number of years now, having been up against him on numerous occasions, and we are very happy as a Club to have secured him for the new season.”
Goldberg also singled out Swaine and May for praise, adding: “We are delighted to have secured these players so far, especially Rob Swaine and Jay May who have caused us all sorts of problems playing against them in recent seasons, and despite not having the funds of certain counterparts in our league, we believe we are making the best use of our budget.
“I therefore hope the supporters work with us as we aim for an exciting season ahead.
“We continue to be in discussions with additional players to strengthen our squad for the new season.”
