Tuesday’s Blue Square Bet South Wrap

Staines Town went a long way to securing their Blue Square Bet South safety with a 3-2 win over fellow strugglers Billericay Town.

David Wheeler (2), Tyrone Marsh (24) got their names on the scoresheet for the Swans, before Blaine Hudson (34, 71) brought the Ricay level. However, Dan Brown grabbed the crucial winner in the 90th minute.

Dorchester Town put on a dominant display in their 4-0 win over Maidenhead United to move to ninth position in the Blue Square Bet South standings.

Charlie Clough (17) and Kieffer Moore (20) had the Magpies in the lead at the interval, before Sam Malsom (66) and Ben Watson (78) added another two after the break.

Eastbourne Borough played out a 1-1 draw with Boreham Wood at the Langney Sport Club. Elliot Charles put the Sports in the lead in the 54th minute, but Michael Thalassitis brought the scores back to level peggings just a minute later.

Havant & Waterlooville also had a 1-1 draw of their own against promotion-chasing Dover Athletic at West Leigh Park.

Harry Ottaway had the Whites in the lead in the ninth minute of the match, but the third-placed outfit could not prevent Alex Grant from pulling the Hawks level in the 40th minute.

Over at the Silverlake Stadium a late hat-trick from second-half substitute Craig McAllister (75, 82,pen 86) moved Eastleigh into the top five with a 3-0 win over Bromley.
