Dorchester Town midfielder Lewis Morgan has committed his future to the club for the upcoming campaign, but Jamie Symes has left the Avenue Stadium.
Morgan arrived in Dorset a year ago and went on to make quite an impression on Magpies boss Phil Simkin during his debut season in the Blue Square Bet South.
The 18-year-old has now been rewarded with a new 12-month deal as Simkin continues to build his squad for next term.
However, fellow midfielder Symes will play no further part in the manager’s plans after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
The 19-year-old rejoined the club in 2011 after a spell with Western League side Bridport, but has now moved on after failing to establish himself in the first team.
